WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANCEL MY RESERVATION

  • Failure to receive outstanding balances 30 days prior to your arrival will result in the automatic cancellation of your reservation and the forfeit of the initial deposit.
  • Cancellations of a booking received more than 30 days prior to the arrival date, can be processed in 2 ways:
    • The deposit amount is refundable, less a $30 administration fee, or
    • The full deposit amount is held as a credit to put towards a future stay with BIG4 Launceston Holiday Park, to be used within 6 months. Credits are non refundable.
  • Cancellations received within 30 days of your arrival date will result in the forfeit of the deposit and full balance paid.

OUR PARK AND PETS

As much as we love pets here, they are not allowed in the park with the exception of a medically certified guide dog.

Please be aware we have a lot of wildlife that roam around the park in the evenings, please do not feed them. If you notice animal scat around the park and are curious as to what animal you may see, please check out our “Know your Poo” sign located near the powered sites.

CAN I GET A LATE CHECKOUT?

Late checkouts need to be organised through us and prior to your checkout date.  Please be advised they are also subject to availability.

CAN WE BOOK UNITS/SITES SIDE BY SIDE?

You can request to have your units/sites side by side but unfortunately we can not guarantee that it will happen. We frequently have to shuffle people around (especially in the peak season) to accomodate other guests.
We try to accomodate everyone to the best of our ability with what we have available.

We can definitely leave notes on your booking that you would like to be together but please be aware it is sometimes not possible.

CHECK IN/OUT TIMES

Check-in: 2pm onwards
Please be advised we do try our best to accommodate guests who arrive before the arrival time however it is subject to availability.

Check-out: Prior to 10am
Unless other arrangements have been made with reception. Late check-outs may incur a charge.

WHAT HAPPENS IF WE ARE ARRIVING OUTSIDE OF OFFICE HOURS?

The Reception and the Park close at 6pm, if you are arriving outside of these hours and have an existing booking with us please do not panic. On the reception door there will be an envelope with the name pertaining to your booking/s on it, inside will be all the information you will need for your stay.

If you have an outstanding amount for your booking/s or you would like to know some more information about Launceston/Tasmania please come see our friendly staff in reception in the morning, we open at 8:30am. 🙂

HOW FAR IS THE PARK TO THE CITY?

We are located 2km outside of the CBD, it is about a 20-30min walk.

IS THERE NEARBY PUBLIC TRANSPORT?

There are buses located near the park (roughly 10min walk), they come every half an hour. Alternatively taxis are about $8-$10 into town and yes Launceston has Uber!!
