Bridstowe Lavender Farm in Bloom

45 minute drive through the forests and farmland of northern Tasmania to Bridestowe Estate at 296 Gillespies Road, Nabowla

Every day during our Festival of Flowers there are fun tours and events happening as we all enjoy the beautiful curved rows of lavender in bloom. The family run farm is lovingly cared for year-round to be able to create the beautiful sights that come alive during December and January.

You can either book tickets in advance on our website, or you can pay at the gate.  Tickets are $20pp for those 16 years and older, under 16 comes to the farm free of charge.

Woodcroft Café is open 7 days a week, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking our fields. Stay awhile and enjoy our range of lavender-inspired treats, barista coffee and delicious meals.

Festivale

Festivale is Tasmania’s premium summer event – a three day celebration designed to showcase Tasmanian food, beverages and entertainment.
Staged in Launceston’s iconic City Park, the ambiance of this outdoor event is unique.

Take a walking tour around the Heritage listed 100 year old former Patons and Baldwins woollen mill.

Hear stories from the early days of the Mill. Learn how the mill made a significant contribution to Launceston’s development with a peak workforce of over 2,000 before its closure in 1997.

See first hand the unfolding redevelopment of the building by Door of Hope Christian Church, with insights into some of the major challenges faced. Be introduced to the new community that is developing across the site. The tour will include recorded stories from former workers and some historical footage.
