Recapture some of the magic of the past at the Launceston Tramway Museum. With over 50 volunteers, this community-based organisation works to restore and revive the old trams that once roamed Launceston in Tasmania.

Complete with a 1930’s tram ride with conductors at the ready to stub your tickets for an authentic experience. Pop inside the modern display gallery, to enjoy Launceston’s oldest surviving movie footage, as well as an interactive children’s tram to keep the kids busy. Make sure to stop by the original workshop, and grab a sneak peek at the ongoing projects.
