Terms and Conditions

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations for stays must be made directly with the park and must be more than 30 days prior to arrival.

The Cancellation of booking/s that are received more than 30 days prior to the arrival date, can be processed in two ways:

        • The entirety of the initial booking deposit can be placed onto guest account, that can then be used within the next twelve months toward a future booking.
        • The deposit can be refunded less a $30.00 administration fee.

Any cancellations of booking/s that are received less than 30 days prior to the arrival date will have their deposit/s forfeited. This also includes guests who fail to check in on their designated day of arrival.

BOOKING CHANGES

Changing of dates, special requests, reducing/adding number of guests and early departures all must be made directly with the park and must be more than 30 days prior to arrival.

        • Change of Dates: Is subject to availability and we cannot guarantee that it will be the same site or the same type of accommodation that was originally booked.
        • Special Request: Special requests are on request basis only and are not guaranteed at the time of booking. Please contact reception for confirmation or to enquire about a request.
        • Reducing and adding guests to booking: The changing of the number of guests must be made directly with the park and must be organised prior to arrival date.  
        • Early Departures: Reducing/Adding the number of nights for a current booking must be organised prior to arrival date. During Peak Season/Public Holidays or Special events when minimum stays apply, any shortening of the stay will incur a $30.00 administration/booking fee.  

BOOKING DEPOSIT

BOOKING CHECK IN OUT TIMES

  • Check-in: Is from 2pm onwards.
    Please note, every effort is made to accommodate guests arriving before the check-in time, however cabins/sites may not be immediately available
  • Check-out:  Is prior to 10am, unless other arrangements have been made with reception. Late check-outs may incur a charge
  • Late Night Arrivals: Guests arriving outside of office hours must make contact directly with the park to make alternative arrangements.

PRIVATELY OWNED

BIG4 Holiday Parks of Australia Pty Ltd is not the owner of any particular BIG4 Holiday Park. Every BIG4 Park is independently owned, which means every park will be run differently (prices, discounts, facilities etc.) but will have the BIG4 standard.

FAMILY ORIENTED

BIG4 Launceston Holiday Park is a family orientated park, so with this in mind, a 10pm noise curfew applies to ensure enjoyment for all guests.

CHILDREN

Parents are responsible for their children’s actions on their bikes (helmets must be worn) and for general behaviour around the park. Please be aware that the roads within the park are shared zones. Children under 12 years old must be supervised in the playground/jumping pillow area and in and around amenities blocks.

VISITOR POLICY

Day visitors are only permitted if they are visiting an existing guest staying within the premises. We ask that you please check with reception prior to arranging any visitors and that visitors are required to fill in a registration form at reception.

CHRISTMAS HOURS

BIG4 Launceston Holiday Park is closed on Christmas Day.

Arrivals and departures for cabins/villas cannot be scheduled
for this day.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Cabins: Our cabins are supplied with a complimentary starter pack of dishwashing liquid, soap/body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, tissues, tea, coffee, sugar and milk. Replenishment of these items is the responsibility of the guest.  

            • Bunk Beds: Please be advised that under Workplace Health and Safety obligations we must comply with the Australian Standards AS/NZS 4220:2003 which states “children under the age of nine years are not permitted to use the top bunk, children must not play on the top bunk”. Please take this into consideration when making your booking.
            • Linen is provided for all paid guests. The City View Villa have the queen bed and king single beds made up and we provide the linen for the bunk beds if needed. The other accommodation types have the main bed made up and single linen packs left on the remaining booked beds.
            • Personal Belongings: BIG4 Launceston Holiday Park takes no responsibility for the loss or damage of any personal items. Remember to lock your vehicle and remove any valuables. Thoroughly check the accommodation before departure as items left behind may not be recovered.

PETS

With the exception of medically certified guide dogs, pets are not permitted.

REFUSAL OF BOOKINGS

BIG4 Launceston Holiday Park reserves the right to refuse a booking at any time from any person reasonably believed to

            • Not be the person named on the booking request.
            • Be deemed to be carrying out unlawful activities.
            • Not be the person named on the credit card or not be authorised to use the card.
            • Not be able to pay for any charges.
            • Who may cause damage to the property of the park or other guests
            • That may exhibit socially unacceptable behaviour.
            • Be younger than 18 years and not accompanied by a responsible person over that age.
            • Be concealing a dog or other unauthorised animal.

We reserve the right to eject guests from the park who are deemed by management to be behaving in a socially unacceptable way; causing damage; disturbing other guests; using unacceptable language or otherwise breaking Park Rules. No refund will be given and charges will apply for any damage caused.
