One of Tasmania’s premier riding destinations, offering over 100km of purpose-built trails across two main networks: Mount George and Tippogoree Hills. Set between coastal views and rugged terrain, the trails cater to all skill levels from beginner flow lines to advanced technical descents.
Riders can enjoy fast, fun singletrack, shuttle-accessed downhill runs, jumps, berms, and scenic sections overlooking the Tamar River and Bass Strait. The networks are well developed with car parking, facilities, and support services in nearby George Town.
Mount George is known for shorter, punchy trails with plenty of flow and features, while Tippogoree Hills offers longer, more progressive riding through natural bushland with varied elevation and terrain.
The area is part of Tasmania’s growing MTB network, making it a popular stop for riders travelling between Launceston, Derby, and the north-east coast.
Visit: Half-day to full day (or longer for keen riders tackling both networks)
